New Gold&Wood and Boucheron partnership

New Gold&Wood and Boucheron partnership

A new eyewear license agreement has been signed by Boucheron and Gold&Wood: the two companies operate side-by-side on the design, production and global distribution of luxury eyewear and frames.

The agreement is for six years and will begin January 1, 2009, with the launch of the first collection scheduled for next summer. 'We are really enthusiastic about this long-term and very exclusive partnership with Gold&Wood', stated Boucheron CEO Jean-Christophe Bedos, 'because I believe that it is one of the major world leaders in this field and it is known for its artisan experience and sophisticated products'.

Boucheron, the brand created by the French company founded in 1858 by Frederic Boucheron and now part of the Gucci Group, is known for its refined products that many jet set celebrities and artists have fallen in love with, as well as for its collaboration with world market leaders under license.

'This is a new and important chapter for Gold&Wood. We are really honored by this collaboration, which will lead to the creation of products that will, without doubt, make their mark on the world luxury market', said Maurice Leonard, the CEO of Gold&Wood, the company based in Luxemburg and described as the real world leader for the production of top-quality luxury eyewear.
