New Frankie Morello offices in Milan
The inauguration cocktail party April 17 will open the doors to Frankie Morello's new offices at 22 Via Pietro Colletta, Milan: the 850 square meters will host the press and style offices, as well as the upcoming opening of a pubic gallery for new artists.
Created and designed by the brand's two stylists and founders, Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti, the area has been conceived as a studio with office where bright colors and an intimate, family atmosphere dominate. At a cost of 3 million euros, the new head office will be used also as a base for initiatives linked to the world of art and all its expressions: at certain times the showroom will be set up as a gallery, a showcase for emerging young talents.
The increased space goes hand in hand with the increase in the label's figures: billings in the leather and apparel segment (produced and distributed by the Gilmar Group) rose from 13 million euros in 2006 to 18 million in 2007, an increase of 39%. 2008 is estimated to close with billings of 25.5 million euros, an upturn of 40% compared to the previous year.
