New Chief Executive for Essilor

Last August 27 the board of directors of Essilor appointed Hubert Sagnières as its new chief executive along with Xavier Fontanet and Philippe Alfroid.

After graduating in Lille, Hubert Sagnières joined Essilor in 1989 as marketing director. In 1991 he was made president of Essilor Canada and, subsequently, president of Essilor America.

He was appointed executive director for North America and Europe after 2006.
