Marcolin presents the new Just Cavalli

This year, the new Just Cavalli Eyewear collection by Marcolin targets a more adult public with a look that's always modern and refined. An evolution in lines and details is based on a new combination of elegance and creativity: the frames have a wide variety of shapes from the classical to the more sporty and to more wraparound, feisty models. A 'mix' of sensations that is well expressed by the names of the ten families that make up the new collection, inspired by the world's most famous cocktails.

Manhattan, the cocktail par excellence, gives its name to the family of two frames (193S-194S) in an acetate and metal combo. The shared characteristic is the elegant sweatband on the front piece with the engraved Just Cavalli logo. JC200 - Margarita familySparkling details and a more sporty shape for the models in the Gin Tonic family (195S-196S) for men and women. The JC monogram in metal on the drop-shape front piece is repeated on temples animated by small metal stripes. The models named after the coolest cocktail, Sex on the Beach, are more aggressive and decisive. The two frames (197S-198S) can't fail to be noticed because of their large size and the metal mesh detail along the temples. Only one, more glamorous, model in the Margarita family (200S): an intriguing wraparound made unique by the laser work around the lens edges and also on the temples. An acetate insert with a sprinkling of small studs is an even stronger feature of this frame.

JC209 - Shirley Temple family The models in the Caipirinha (201S-202S) and Gin Lemon (203S-204S) families are designed for women: the classical frame shape is decorated with funky ellipses or hearts with the JC monogram. The particularly wraparound and linear frames of the Long Island family (205S) conjure up the Eighties. The logo joining the front piece to the temples stands out against smooth, regular surfaces.

A completely different shape for the frames in the Bloody Mary family (206S). The rounded edges of the front piece and the temples create an original rounded effect. A return to squarer, more serious shapes for the Rum & Cola family, with two frames (207S-208S) designed to take graduated lenses and with very discreet decorations. A romantic metal heart covered with rhinestones is the distinctive detail of the model in the Shirley Temple family (209S).
