Indo presents the new 'Natural Indo'

Studies carried out by Indo's R&D&I Department have determined that only 40% of users keep their glasses in the case when they are not using them, while the rest of them put their glasses in their shirt pocket or in their bag without the case. Moreover, 65% clean their glasses with materials that are not recommended, such as paper, cloth, etc. Bearing this in mind, along with the growing need for scratch-resistant lenses, Indo has taken another step forward in the field of antireflective treatments by developing the new Natural Indo Self-Cleaning and Ultra-Resistant treatment.

The new Natural Indo Self-Cleaning and Ultra-Resistant treatment provides an antireflective coating based on the use of zirconium oxide in the manufacturing process that makes lenses ultra-resistant to scratches and much harder. The new treatment also includes the features of the self-cleaning effect: lenses that are 10 times more repellent to prevent dirt and impurities from sticking to the lens surface; a contact angle of 115º to keep water from spreading over the lens and hindering vision; and a completely antistatic surface that does not attract dust particles so the lenses stay cleaner much longer.

With all these features, the new Natural Indo Self-Cleaning and Ultra-Resistant treatment guarantees lenses that are highly resistant to scratching and very easy to clean. The Natural Indo Self-Cleaning and Ultra-Resistant treatment is available in 1.67 lab and stock lenses and 1.6 lab lenses. It will soon be available in Superfin lenses (1.5).
