
Important results and new projects for Charmant Italy
Following the appointment of new Commercial Manager Alessandro Chitotti and the extension of the Group's headquarters in Milan, the Charmant Group's Italian subsidiary is going through a highly positive period of excellent results and new projects in the pipeline.
After a 2007 during which Charmant celebrated several significant dates, such as the 50th anniversary of the Group's foundation, 20 years of business in Europe and 10 years in Italy, 2008 began with the Group's important acquisition of the license for Lacoste, the famous 'crocodile brand' that will be celebrating its 75th birthday this year.
Celebrations also for Esprit, which marked its 40th anniversary with the limited edition of Esprit 1968, an exclusive case containing sunglasses frames and a precious pendant.
Also eagerly awaited is the launch of the special Puma collections dedicated to two great sporting events in 2008: the European football championships and the Beijing Olympics. And in fact exclusive frames have been created for the athletes taking part in these two appointments.
Charmant will be at Mido again this year to present to the public and sector operators the new additions to its collections for the abovementioned brands under license and for its own Charmant, Aristar, Nodoka and Valmax brands. Special appointments for opticians, events and a significant advertising presence in Italy's major trade publications are being prepared to support all the Group's activities in the coming months.
