Ferrari - inspired by the "Rampant Horse's" cars

Ferrari's new eyewear collection is designed to interpret the spirit of the myth in every element - the ideal convergence of creativity, design and quality materials is enhanced by the unmistakable Italian Style that distinguishes each frame's shapes and details.

Once again the cars of the "Rampant Horse' have inspired eyewear models that have been conceived and developed on the typical concepts and materials of industrial design. Details, like the small metal grid, propose parts of the single seater, while materials, like titanium and carbon, are those adopted by the automobile industry.

Icon models in the Autumn/Winter 2008-09 Collection are described below.

Model FR5030
All acetate frame for television eyeglasses. The classical shape's daring size and thickness is tuned in with the latest trends. The leather detail on stems marked by the metal "Rampant Horse" enhances a linear frame with refined sophistication.The model also envisages transparent maroon and dark brown acetate.

Model FR5031
This acetate frame, whose grid plays the unrivalled protagonist, recalls Ferrari's competitive spirit. As in the single seater, this element, which conveys punch and passion for competition in red, adds an unmistakable touch of class.The small metal Rampant Horse at the stem base is an unobtrusive and sophisticated ornament.

Model FR5038
A courageous combination of acetate and metal for an aerodynamic model: acetate is moulded into striped bright red stems, while metal becomes a detail that recalls the ventilation grid of cars. Stems enhanced by the yellow shield with the little horse personalise the frame.
