Bushnell: top management changes.

'This change allows our extraordinary top-management team to take on greater leadership responsibilities and it allows me to cultivate other interests after a long and fruitful period in Bushnell.' Joseph Messner made this statement regarding his change of role within the company.

The Board of Directors of Bushnell Outdoor Products today announced that B. Joseph Messner, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, will be made a Senior Advisor with immediate effect. Bushnell's current top-management team will continue to manage the company's business. Rob Sharp, Chief Executive of MidOcean Partners which bought Bushnell in 2007, has been collaborating on increasing the latter's business since then and will be appointed president.

"Managing Bushnell over the past ten years was an opportunity that I particularly enjoyed. It was a pleasure to have MidOcean as a partner and to collaborate with the management team and all Bushnell's talented employees," commented Messner who joined the company in 1999 as President and Chief Executive Officer. "Bushnell is doing very well thanks to the strength of our brands, its leading position in various markets, its new products and excellent customer service. For the future, I will continue to work with the company in the role of important investor and consultant. Bushnell is a fantastic company with wonderful prospects for growth and I wish MidOcean and all the collaborators huge success in the years to come."

Sharp added, "We would like to thank Joe for the invaluable contribution he has made to the company and we wish him all the very best for the future. Joe and the Bushnell management team have put the company in an excellent position for constant long-term growth and we are looking with enthusiasm at future successes under the guidance of the company's top management."
