Adidas, new ID2 goggles

Double frame, nano-technology integrated with the breathable fabric and compatiblity with the Performance InsertTM optic support for wearers of corrective lenses. These are the features of the new ID2 by Adidas.

The winner of the ISPO Boardsports Award 2008, ID2 features frame technology composed of two elements: the elastic band is joined to the outside frame and the inner frame supports the double spherical lens in polycarbonate. This innovative solution means that the external frame adapts perfectly to the shape and size of various helmets and always keeps the internal frame close to the face. The result is goggles that guarantee unequaled vision and fit.

Another characteristic is the nano-technology integrated with the breathable fabric (Nano-Foam™), which prevents humidity from getting between the lens and the face, or between the two lenses, to guarantee maximum optical definition. This ultra-technological solution also prevents ice from forming by maintaing constant ventilation thanks to the ClimaCoolTM dynamic ventilation system. The anti-fogging dual coating on the spherical filters also ensures all-round, uncompromised vision.

Thanks to the Quick Change Lens SystemTM, the lenses can be easily and quickly changed to adapt the goggles to any changes in the weather: Adidas Eyewear offers 7 lenses in different, light-specific colors. Perfect fit and stability are ensured by the extra-long, adjustable elastic band that goes round any helmet. Woven fabric and a leather logo add to the look of 2 of the 6 colors available.

ID2 is compatible with Performance InsertTM a747 optic inserts for vision correction. Large and simple to insert and remove, Performance InsertTM is also compatible with bifocals and progressives.
