2 new models for Betty Jackson signed by Oliver Goldsmith

Betty Jackson has announced a collaboration with the renowned Oliver Goldsmith brand for the production of two limited edition sun models to be added to the 2008 spring/summer collection.

Handmade in vintage acetate, the eyewear is inspired by the Goldsmith family's private archives.

Considered to be the British icon of eyewear, Oliver Goldsmith has dressed the eyes of Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Michael Caine and Sofia Loren and he was the first to support the idea that sunglasses are key accessories par excellence.

The 2005 international re-launch of the brand by Claire Goldsmith, Oliver's granddaughter, took the evergreen design back to high fashion boutiques, design and retail stores.

The brand has demonstrated that it is still contemporary and is worn by such modern-day stars as Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Jude Law, Jessica Simpson and Gwyneth Paltrow.
