World-class Carrera in the 250cc with Jorge Lorenzo

The Safilo Group stood on the top step of the podium in the final classification for the 250 and on the second step for the 125 and the MotoGP.

The 2006 world championships ended with an important victory for Carrera: the last race of the season held Sunday, October 29 on the Valencia circuit in Spain, brought Jorge Lorenzo the title of champion of the 250 class.

Carrera testimonial Jorge Lorenzo closed an exciting season as the absolute leader of his category and once again taking Carrera eyewear to the top step of the podium.

In the 125 class, Mika Kallio from Finland, also a Carrera testimonial, was second in the final classification for the category, after numerous prestigious successes throughout the season.

In the MotoGP class, Australia's Casey Stoner of the Honda-LCR team supported by Carrera also had good results: for the first time in the leading class, the rider came in eighth in the final classification.
