Victories by Arnette

The Italian Supermoto Team, captained by Our Champion (team Arnette) and companions of the standing of Massimo Beltrami (Arnette team) and Fabio Balducci, has beaten everyone on Irish soil and proved it is the best in the world, repeating the past two seasons where it dominated.

The team captain, Ivan, made his usual vital contribution, giving the Team, in order:
the first half in the free trials, pole-position in the official trials, victory in the qualification heat for the starting grid, a clear victory in competition one and second place in the final round (where Ivan drove 'economically' with more of a view to the team's classification, of course, than his own personal glory).

His companions performed equally well and defended themselves splendidly in their respective classes, bringing the Italian Team to Victory in this lottery, which is as engrossing as it is never 'certain', and which, at the end of the day, awards a prize to the Team that has accumulated the least number of points calculated on the basis of the mathematical total of the results, which gives one point for first, two for second, three for third and so on, so in twentieth place you can question your own team's overall classification.

Hence, for Ivan, after his great performance two weeks ago at the National 2006, and in the overall Super Champion 2006 classification, which gave him his 4th (or rather 5th) consecutive title in his own country, yet again we have another World class performance, which makes 2006 already a rather 'sweet' year, but it is not over yet and there are still 150 points 'at stake' in the Individual World Championship, so from now until 15 November, collecting as many points as possible, who knows, maybe at the end of the year it will be time to celebrate again.
