Turin: gold and bronze for Bollé team
At the Turin Olympic Games last Thursday, the Bollé team's Seth Wescott and Paul Henri De Le Rue, won a gold and bronze medal, respectively, in boardercross.
Despite a fall, Paul Henri De Le Rue from France crossed the finishing line in third place. Nicknamed 'Polo De Le Rue', the 21-year-old snowboarder wore the Bollé Nova goggles with optic clip. Bollé has designed an innovative system that allows athletes with sight problems to wear their own prescription glasses together with ski goggles. The system is simple: an optic clip with shatterproof, polycarbonate prescription lenses is attached to the Bollé goggles to combine optic correction and protection from the sun.
The Olympic champion title goes to Seth Wescott, the current world champion and the third US snowboarder to win a medal. Wescott is also sponsored by Bollé and he wore the Nova goggles.
