Turin: Carrera on podium 12 times

Anja PaersonThe 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin are in full swing and the athletes in the Carrera Ski Racing Team have been collecting numerous and prestigious awards: to date, they have 3 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Anja Paerson from Sweden wears the new 2006 Turin Olympic Games' version of the Fireball Advance helmet and Kimerik goggles. She has already won two bronze medals: the Freestyle Downhill February 15 and the Freestyle Combined Downhill February 18.

Great expectations for Spanish skier Maria José Rienda Contreras who will take to the slopes in the Giant Slalom Friday, February 24, with the Explorer helmet and Kimerik SF Race goggles. Italy's Manuela Moelgg and Alexandra Meissnitzer from Austria, who won the bronze in the Super-G February 20, both wear Fireball Advance helmets and Kimerik goggles.

Hermann Maier One of the leading athletes in the Carrera Ski Racing Team is Michael Walchhofer from Austria, who wears the Fireball helmet and Kimerik goggles, and he won a silver medal in the Downhill February 12. Wearing his Nerve helmet and Raptor goggles, Austrian Rainer Schoenfelder picked up a gold medal in the Combined February 14; wearing a Fiber helmet and Kimerik goggles, champion Hermann Maier won the silver medal in the Super-G event February 18 and the bronze medal in the Giant Slalom February 20.

Lukas BauerAustrian Stephan Goergl wore the Fireball Advance and Typhoon helmet and Kimerik goggles, and Bruno Kernen from Switzerland won the bronze medal in the Freestyle Downhill February 12.

Apart from Alpine skiing, Carrera products are also the stars in numerous other disciplines: in the Biathlon with Juergen Pinter; in the Cross Country with Lukas Bauer from the Czech Republic, who won a silver in the 15 km Cross Country event February 17; Austrians Martin Tauber and Christian Hoffman wore Shark and C2-8 Comp sunglasses.

Thomas MorgensternStanding out in the Large Hill ski jumping event, Simon Amman and Andreas Kuettel from Switzerland and Thomas Morgenstern from Austria won a gold in the Individual Large Hill event February 18 and in the Team Large Hill event February 20. All these athletes are protected in these incredible jumps by Fireball helmets and Kimerik goggles.

Felix Gottwald, Michael Gruber, Mario Stecher and Cristoph BielerIn the Nordic Combined, Austrians Felix Gottwald, Michael Gruber, Mario Stecher and Cristoph Bieler collected a gold medal for the February 16 event: they wore C2-8 Comp sunglasses, Kimerik goggles and Fireball helmets.
