Travelers' Eyewear is here: Jeckerson Eye Catching

Jeckerson and Visibilia entered into a five-year agreement to produce and distribute sunglasses and vision frames totally in line with the spirit of the brand: stylistic research, quality materials and an itinerant and authentic sportswear-chic soul.

With forecast billings of 25 million euros in 5 years, distribution at the startup of this ambitious project will be mainly to Europe and Russia. The launch will take place at Silmo in Paris the following October. The first collection will have a masculine focus with unisex models and will aim at producing eyewear dedicated to those who do not want to wear anything that's stereotyped.

'It's a very important step for us', said Franco Stocchi, owner of the Jeckerson brand, 'we gave it a lot of thought given that it's the first 'non-apparel' product we've made for our consumers. We wanted to create something original, with very close links to our world, and with a precise personality. Visibilia is the ideal partner because of its professionalism, sensitivity and shared business values'.

Already in November the Jeckerson Eye Catching collection will be distributed to leading eyewear boutiques and will be backed up by a distinctive advertising campaign.

With metal top sprays, unusual shapes, geometrically-intriguing temples and attractive inserts in Alcantara, Jeckerson eyewear will become a symbol of a genuine and original travel living. A product that is not just an accessory but draws inspiration from the narrative concept of the traveler, and not of that of the tourist. The contemporary man who always takes three things with him: a notebook, a golf club and his glasses.

'There's still space in the optics world, but only for ideas with a distinctive value' stated Dr. Dan Levi, Chairman of Visibilia S.p.A., 'and we firmly believe in the strength of a brand that has been able to assert itself with the creative characterization of its product and image. We also consider that the agreement with Jeckerson has significant added value in terms of the diversification of our offer'.

The Jeckerson concept began with the trousers which appeared for the first time in 1995 on the golf courses in Bologna, a successful business idea that has now become a complete collection of clothing for men and women.
