Smith at Turin Winter Paralympics Games 2006

Upcoming Winter Paralympics Games 2006 in Turin (March 10-19) and athletes in various specialties are ready to give their best at this important event. Partially-sighted Gianmaria Dal Maistro from Vicenza, member of the Italian Alpine Skiing Team for the Disabled, and coach Tommaso Balasso, normally wear Prodigy goggles, but during the Alpine Skiing events they will wear Phenom goggles. Silvia Parente won a bronze medal for the Slalom at Lillehammer 1994 and a silver medal for the SuperG at the Wildschonau World Championships 2004.
