Rudy Project at Dakar with Correos team
Rudy Project, the Treviso-based company that produces technical sunglasses, goggles and sports accessories, was the sponsor and official supplier for Spain's Correos team, which had a great success at the recently-ended Dakar race.
The difficult trial, begun in Lisbon last December 31, was so rough and bristling with obstacles that only a few of the 252 registered drivers were able to cross the finishing line.
Amongst the leaders were Xacob Agra and Gerard Farres, two of the men in the Correos team on Yamahas, who wore the Klonyx Mx goggles that Rudy Project created by using leading-edge materials with superior properties to guarantee total protection, even in extreme weather conditions. Dangerous desert dunes and sand storms were brilliantly overcome by the team and were the testing ground for new technologies soon to be available in the Rudy Project collection.
Klonyx Mx are technical goggles with perfect ergonomics that ensure maximum peripheral vision, and two-layer antifog and scratch-resistant lenses that can handle a wide range of corrective factors. The elastic strap and the wraparound shape also guarantee maximum comfort and protection.
