ReNu with MoistureLoc also for silicone hydrogel contact lenses

Bausch & Lomb has recently obtained the authorization of the Food and Drug Administration to add an additional claim to the packaging of ReNu with MoistureLoc: the multifunction solution has been authorized because of its compatibility with all silicone hydrogel materials on the market.

The ReNu with MoistureLoc single solution is also approved for use with soft contact lenses and silicone hydrogel contact lenses.

To demonstrate how the product can be used, Bausch & Lomb presented a clinical study of 400 patients, carried out by 17 specialists in the USA, in which ReNu with MoistureLoc was used with PureVision and silicone hydrogel products from Ciba Vision and Vistakon (J&J).

The specialists who took part in the study agreed that, in combination with silicone hydrogel contact lenses, ReNu with MoistureLoc guarantees excellent eye health.

Moreover, the patients involved in the study also stated that ReNu with MoistureLoc provides a superior level of comfort and, at the same time, significantly reduces dryness of the eyes.
