New models from AVD Augusto Valentino Design

The AVD Augusto Valentini Design collection, designed by Augusto Valentini and produced in Italy by Look the concept factory, is the result of constant research that enables it to offer an innovative and exclusive product.

Starting with its technical rigor, the style takes on a universal character by elaborating, transforming and creating evocative sensations through plays of color, transparency and luminosity. The credit goes to the materials, such as grilamid, attentively and creatively treated to make them the predominant note of the collection. Credit also goes to Augusto Valentini's creative inspiration which translates into exclusive and evolutionary artisan and artistic expertise, with the added value of a totally state-of-the-art construction technique, 100% made in Italy.

Two of the new 2006 models, specifically, define the character and personality of the AVD Augusto Valentini Design collection. They are both unisex, metal and grilamid combos.

AVD 7980 is available in two types, with or without nylor, and in two different rim sizes to adapt to progressive lenses. Extremely lightweight, these glasses are versatile, slim and fit very comfortably. Glasses that are enriched stylistically through the use of grilamid for the front piece, and so slim that they seem to filter luminosity through which soft lines can be perceived, one of the stylistic themes that characterize the AVD collection.

AVD 70135 is inspired by wraparound sports glasses transformed by design into a leading-edge object, a fashion accessory with a strong stylistic personality. The use of color, expressed in infinite trendy variants from orange to purple to red and the ever-popular black, in a combination of luminosity and opacity for the aluminum parts that enhances these glasses. After model 70115, they are destined to become the collection's new best seller.

After Paris in October, the AVD Augusto Valentini Design models were also enthusiastically received by the German market.
