Mandarina Duck renews license with Visibilia

Mandarina Duck and Visibilia have renewed the license for the production and worldwide distribution of vision and sunglasses with the Mandarina Duck label.

Valid from January 1, 2006, the agreement is for five years and confirms the continuity of an alliance with great strategic quality and, from a commercial viewpoint, aims at achieving an important business objective: to double sales volumes over the next five years.

At the same time, the renewal reinforces the collaboration between the two companies in terms of project research. The result of flexible design, the eyewear is created for those who seek a combination of daily use and technology, creativity and minimalism. Eyewear for 'living' in that will amaze because of the sober originality that distinguishes the spirit of the brand.

Commercially speaking, the agreement with Visibilia, which dates back to 2003, has generated constant growth in the volume of sales for the Mandarina Duck eyewear collections, both in Italy and abroad. In three years, billings have tripled and sales during the last six months of 2005 showed an increase of over 70% compared to the same period 2004.

Today, Mandarina Duck is one of Visibilia's major focal points. The growing interest demonstrated by the Italian market is joined by excellent performance on the German and Spanish markets, while the famous Italian brand has been enthusiastically received by the more recent Asian markets.

A world preview of the new Mandarina Duck eyewear collection will be presented May 2006 at Mido.
