Liquigas: destination Salzburg

Seven cyclists will be part of the Liquigas Team at the Salzburg World Championships. This morning, technical commissioner Franco Ballerini officially announced the composition of the Italian team.

It includes Danilo Di Luca and Luca Paolini, who will take part in the road trial Sunday, 24.

The time trial Thursday, September 21 will feature Vincenzo Nibali.

The other 'world' cyclists in the Liquigas Team are Michael Albasini from Switzerland, Kjell Carlström from Finland, Matej Mugerli from Slovenia and Roman Kreuziger from the Czech Republic.

The announcement of the green team's strong presence in Austria consolidates the leading role Liquigas has already gained through its status of major sponsor of the Salzburg World Championships.
