
Huge success in Paris for x-ice
For some years, the company from Cadore has been standing out for its production of the X-ICE brand with its unquestionably original, strong and modern style.The boom in sales in 2005 and huge popularity with consumers has continued into 2006 and this has been fully consolidated by the positioning of the X-ICE brand among the most original and trendy in the sector.
The use of top-quality and highly innovative materials, like the V-Toric lenses from Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlens, the constant experimentation of new combinations of materials such as leather and plastic, and the constant search for new shapes and colors, placed the Silmo spotlight on the X-ICE collection.
The names of this year's new creations refer to the heroes of a well-known Japanese cartoon, 'Kenshiro'.
Standing out among them is Raul, the injected-plastic sunglasses model with V-Toric wraparound lenses. A distinctive feature of this frame is the metal decoration, where the central stud is used to fix the lens to the front piece from behind. Once again, the X-ICE logo characterizes the frame itself: in this model, the metal logo rises slightly out of the plastic which covers it almost entirely.
In the vision collection, the top model is Kenshiro, glasses with a metal front piece and acetate temples with a very flexible steel core.
The decoration inserted in the temple is particularly exceptional: the logo embroidered in metal gives the eyes a touch of glamour.
