The new collection of sunglasses offered by Givenchy, produced by De Rigo, for 2007 is charged with intrinsic power, an unmistakable forceful personality and unique refinement.

This elegant collection enhanced with typical French features is designed to maintain a delicate feminine line, despite the newly released stronger models, whose decided personality and shapes are unmistakable.The collection is packed with references to the world of accessories and to Haute Couture and Prêt-a-porter lines, which inspire its trend (i.e. the bag Clarabelle's buckle). Details become decorations to add a touch of glamour to simple classical eyewear.

One striking detail stands out strong and unmistakable: the Logo on which the entire collection is centred.

- That's it, 'oversize' and laser-processed in matching shades to achieve either glossy/opaque effects or contrasts produced by skilfully applied enamel; it is even adopted as a hinge on the latest wrap-around models;

- That's it, 'mini', small, inserted in a metal cube enriched with either rhinestone or enamel;

- That's it, the real 'protagonist'… a decoration that is no mere symbol of the fashion house but rather an integral part of it, a detail that creates fashionable models with forceful features alongside the refined classical lines.

Along with the 4G logo, we also notice a logomania revival - an 'extra-large' version of the logo is either destructured or rotated along the temples to convey a trendy and strong personality.

Givenchy has designed a classical collection for men: new materials and interpretations ensure refined and decidedly fashionable models.

These are the wrap-around models with dual coloured joints on both the front piece and temples, acetate inserts located either inside the double bridge or fitted as perspiration bars designed to enhance the front piece with a special warm touch.

But the collection is not lacking in simpler models with thin frames and shaded lenses for sober gentle-natured men.
