First 'shop-in-shop' Alain Mikli in Thailand
In December 2005, the optician Boon Danbawornkiat opened the first shop in shop Alain Mikli in Bangkok, in Thailand. Opticians for more than 20 years, the owners of the boutique have settled down in the prestigious area of Siamparagon situated in the heart of Bangkok, a tropical oasis, surrounded by beautiful gardens, fountains and waterfalls. It is a combination of art, architecture, technology and harmony.
The exclusive Alain Mikli shop in shop concept has been designed by Philippe Starck. The luxury, custom tailored area (modules from 12 to 25 sq. meters) features wood, a chandelier, mirrors and displays, expressing the spirit and expertise of the Alain Mikli brand. The entire concept is designed to make selling and purchasing eyeglasses a uniquely pleasurable experience.
Alain Mikli stores combine elegant aesthetics, technology and expertise. Displays provide an exceptional showcase for eyeglasses, recounting stories with complete collections that reveal real character.
The choice of frames is ideally matched to the relationship between the customer's face and personality, while the choice of lenses is tailored to the type and degree of ametropia. Assembly of the lenses in the frames is equally important, requiring masterful expertise to guarantee a perfect result in terms of aesthetics.
This is why Alain Mikli also proposes complete technical training for the optician's staff. To maintain impeccable quality of service, Alain Mikli oversees and supports the marketing of the brand's products. The shop in shop is delivered in turnkey configuration to guarantee that selling and wearing eyeglasses become a uniquely pleasurable experience.
