Esa International Sunglass Industry Dinner at Mido 2006

The European Sunglass Association (Esa) in cooperation with the Sunglass Association of America (Saa) announces one of the greatest global sunglass industry events: the 12th Annual International Sunglass Industry Dinner, during Mido 2006, Saturday, May 6th, 2006, Milan, Italy.

The 12th annual gala will be held at the Hotel Principe di Savoia Milano. Usually more than 150 decision makers and key players within the Sunglass Industry join the evening event there and benefit from unparalleled networking opportunities as well as gaining insights into the latest information on technical, commercial and fashion topics. The dinner will be highlighted by Deborah Forstenzer's vibrant presentation of summer 2007 fashion trends.

During Mido, Esa will introduce the newest communication tools to its guests and press: the Sunglass Instructor brochure and the Esa-film.

The new brochure following the former 'training guide', includes the latest facts on eye health, UV-Radiation and the importance of protection, qualified information on the different sun lenses and their usage for various activities, parameters for good quality sunglasses and not least how to better sell sunglasses - an essential instrument for the retail business.

The Esa-film with the working title 'Protect your eyes' is a short video about 6-8 minutes. It will approach a variety of target groups throughout Europe. As an educational film, it will convey basic information about sunlight, health, protection and quality in an understandable format, but also emotionally appealing. The final film will be presented to Esa-members at their Yearly Conference in June.
