concept-s widens its range of displays

For concept-s, 2006 opens (starting in Germany) with two novelties which enrich the display catalogue.

The Elb prototype is a single, battery-fuelled display, available from January. The special feature of this product does not lie in its electronically-closing structure, but in the technology used. It needs no cables but is fed by four simple exchangeable batteries in a battery case positioned in the lower half of the tube, without the need for a support base. Thanks to its flexibility, this technology may also be applied to electronic displays with stands.

The silver-coloured battery case perfectly matches the silhouette of the display and seems to be a part of it. The structure may be activated 30,000 times before re-charging. The battery kit includes four conventional 1.5 Volt batteries, which are easy to replace.

The other novelty for 2006 is the upgrading of the well-known Mini-Tubix, whose slim profile in aluminium has been influenced by the latest trends in the eyewear world. In line with the fashion for models with increasingly large nosepieces, concept-s has fitted the display with a more spacious slot system for the frames. The sunglass frames, in particular, which are especially large and also more frequently stolen, may be easily secured with Mte HX, but still easily handled by customers.
