Briko wins the 2nd Memorial Cimurri with Enrico Gasparotto

After the GP Cimurri victory, the Friuli champion is looking to the future with revenge.

Neither his health problems nor the consequences of his falls stopped Enrico Gasparotto. The racer of Liquigas, seems more determined than ever to avenge his bad luck after his success at GP Cimurri.

The season for the 24 year old from Friuli has been marred by a series of physical problems.

The victory at the finishing line in Reggio Emilia can only shed new light on Gasparotto's prospects: «This victory is my revenge after so many difficult months. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me not to lose confidence in my capabilities. Yesterday I felt very calm: a feeling I had been waiting for for some time. Now, I am more aware of my resources and I want to reap the benefits in the last races of the season. Ambitions for 2007?
