Benjamin RaichThe winter sports season 2005-2006 has closed and there were a great many races and specialties which took the athletes sponsored by Briko onto the steps of the podium, thanks also to the materials supplied by the Italian company, such as helmets, goggles and glasses.

The lion's share went to Briko ski wax, a long-awaited return: Briko's paraffin waxes demonstrated that they are among the best in the world.

Giorgio RoccaIt's also thanks to Briko's tireless tenacity in research and development and experimentation that Benjamin Raich (Austria) won the men's Alpine Skiing World Cup, while Giorgio Rocca (Italy) graduated to World Champion in the special slalom and brought the cup back to Italy, 11 years after Alberto Tomba's last win.

Marit BjorgenFor the women, Marit Bjorgen from Norway raised the cross country skiing World Cup after a season of frequent peak performances.

Both Benjamin Raich and Marit Bjorgen also showed their worth at the Turin Olympics 2006, the former with a gold for the giant and special slalom, the latter a silver in the classical 10 km cross country.

Pietro Piller CottrerOn the podium with them were champs of the caliber of Nicole Hosp, Pietro Piller Cottrer, Fulvio, Sabina Valbusa, Frode Estil, Mats Larsson, Thobias Fredriksson, Mikhail Botwinov, Virpi Kuitunen and Aino Kaisa Saarinen.
