Bally eyewear coming soon

At the opening of the Bally flagship store in New York, the brand's Chief Executive, Marco Franchini, announced that negotiations are underway for an eyewear license and it should be finalized in the coming weeks.

The turnaround plan carried out by Franchini is giving good results. 'We were at breakeven in 2004 and in 2005 we had good profits', he explained to Milano Finanza Fashion. 'Last year billings stood at 300 million Swiss francs, equal to around 230 million euros'.

The forecast for 2006 is 350 million Swiss francs. Also this year, the restyling project for the distribution network will continue and will include the renovation of the stores in Boston, Las Vegas, Milan and Sydney.
