AVD Augusto Valentini Design awarded at Brno

AVD Augusto Valentini Design model 70141, designed and produced in Italy by Look the concept factory, won the award for the 'best new technique and design' at the Top Opta competition that took place during the fair held February 24 through 26 at Brno, Czech Republic.

One of their top models, and already a best seller on many European markets, it is a metal and acetate combo with end-pieces in grilamid. Its color variations and design are proof of its creator's refinement.

Consisting of a group of authoritative members of the Czech Republic Association of Opticians and Optometrists, the jury's reasons for its decision were mainly the functional and stylistic characteristics of the lens mounting system in model 70141, combined with the charm of a product with a modern reinterpretation of a retro style.

The important award was presented during the fair opening ceremony attended by the Czech Republic Minister for Labor and Social Affairs, Zdenek Sdromach.
