Arnette is on the podium of the MX2 Motocross World Championship
He had to attack and so he attacked! In a nutshell, this is the comment for the race completed by David Philippaerts in France on the occasion of the last Grand Prix of this excellent season.
In a determined effort to recover his lead for the world title from his direct opponents, Philippaerts showed his winning driving style, delighting the French public with his sophisticated technical stunts and moments of sheer adrenalin during the two legs of the race held across the Alps.
Two third places for David, whose score puts him on the second step of the podium in the last GP of the season, but, more importantly, third in the final classification of the MX2 2006 World Championship, won thanks to his great determination.
With David Philippaerts in third position Arnette remains at the top of world motocross, back on the championship podium after the impressive season in 2005 when Andrew McFarlane and Alessio 'Chicco' Chiodi came second and third respectively in the MX2 championship.
The Arnette 'dream team' will see everyone next season, ready to battle it out for the prestigious titles of this amazing sport.
