Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Spring/Summer 2006 collection
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada's new sunglasses collection, manufactured and distributed by Optim and presented last December in Madrid, is made up of 30 models, with 4 and 5 different colours per model, all available in eyewear specialists all over Spain and in Agatha Ruiz de la Prada shops.
Daring shapes and colours take the leading roles. The majority of the models are in acetate, although we also find super wraparound masks in the clearly defined oversized trend.
The highlight of the collection is the decoration that Agatha presents on the temples of each model: metal plates with the new Agatha logo (Mod. AR21063), laminations of floral decorations (Mod. AR21044), silk-screen printing of the maxi logo or temples worked completely in laser (Mod. AR21058).
Model AR21074 'Night de Agatha' is a mask with a multitude coloured Swarovski stones inserted into the lens as if they were stars accompanying a silk-screened half moon.
Model AR21062 is a rounded acetate frame with a certain retro look. This model carries the new square Agatha logo worked in metal, the same size as the wide temple.
AR21061 is a wrap-around acetate model with lenses degradé. Stands out due to the decoration on the temple based around laser cut concentric hearts culminating in a metallic one painted with epoxy.
AR21057 is another wrap-around acetate model with lenses degradé. Stands out due to the revolutionary maxi logo on the temple.
