A/X Armani Exchange
The Safilo Group, a world leader in top-of-the-range vision and sunglasses eyewear, creates the first collection of sunglasses with the A/X Armani Exchange name.
This collection is presented three years after the debut of the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani vision and sunglasses eyewear lines created by Safilo, further strengthening the bond between the Armani Group and the Safilo Group.
A/X Armani Exchange is a young, urban collection with strong fashion content. The new line of A/X Armani Exchange sunglasses reflects the accessibility and spirit of the fashion collection, characterized by a complete, dynamic range of models in acetate and metal with the originally interpreted A/X logo clearly visible on the whole collection.
In the models for men, the wraparound style prevails in the classical color variations of brown, gray, blue and black. The Aviator models reflect the trendiest lines in the USA, with stylized details matching the timeless colors of the black, gold, palladium and light bronze-brown color metal.
The women's models are characterized by large, oversize shapes, with a predominance of mono-lens mask, and smaller rectangular wraparound models. The range of colors for the metal frames favors the elegant shades of light gold, dark ruthenium and palladium. The acetate models are proposed in striking colors such as fuchsia, yellow, orange, marbled burgundy and pearl white, as well as in dim, dark colors, such as tortoise, caramel and black.
Whereas, champagne, soft brown and black were the colors chosen for the collection's unisex models, as well as red and indigo blue.
The A/X Armani Exchange sunglasses collection will be on sale from mid November 2006 in all A/X Armani Exchange single-brand stores in the United States, and in shops all over the world from January 2007. The collection will also be available from opticians and select department stores in the United States after January 2007, and will subsequently be completed by eyeglasses models.
