Barbara Salimbeni

After graduating with a degree in Modern Literature from the Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan with a specialization in Marketing at SDA Bocconi, Barbara began her career in Marketing & Communications, working with leading companies in the advertising, telecommunications and cosmetics industries.  
Barbara’s international career started in 2003, where she spent 7 years in Hong Kong as APAC Marketing Director, taking on roles of increasing responsibility at Safilo Group. Upon returning to Italy she held a global role as Head of Trade and Retail Marketing.  
In  2015, Barbara joined Marchon Eyewear, where she successfully developed the marketing area for the EMEA region, and later advanced to the role of VP of Global Trade Marketing. By the end of 2023, she was also appointed as Managing Director of Marchon Italy. 
Barbara is a member of the ANFAO General Council.
