POLAROID will showcase its latest brand news and eyewear collections for 2020 in a large colourful space at the Mido fair, according to the latest company statement. A new “exciting” brand identity, faithful to the #SEEBEYOND concept of the label, will be highlighted alongside a sunglasses and optical collection “where the rainbow is the protagonist” on temples and new special details, bringing colour to different parts of the frame, including the polarized lenses.
POLAROID EYEWEAR presents THE BUMBYS.
The “anonymous” performance artists from the US will perform at the POLAROID stand at Mido. Their act centres around providing “A Fair and Honest Appraisal of Your Appearance” using props such as analog typewriters and wit. (Taking place Saturday + Sunday of Mido from 12 to 14.30).
SELETTI WEARS POLAROID.
The brand is planning a dedicated wall for the POLAROID KIDS collection: the project entitled SELETTI wears Polaroid is an ironic and original union which connects Polaroid to one of the coolest design brands today. POLAROID and SELETTI have reinterpreted the iconic MOUSE LAMP with fun and colorful tights. Previewing at the show for trade, the project with launch officially at MILAN DESIGN WEEK in April 2020.
