CUTLER AND GROSS create collection celebrating Graham Cutler’s passions.
British eyewear brand Cutler and Gross have launched the Graham Cutler collection (G.H.C), which celebrates Mr Graham Cutler’s passion for technicality, comfort, and sophistication. The collection is inspired by Mr Cutler’s original capsule collection first launched in the company’s Knightsbridge store in 2003. With customers who worked in creative industries, they liked the bold look of Cutler and Gross frames but were looking for eyewear they could wear all day in their respective creative fields. Distilled into four minimalistic and timeless opticals, two of which are available as sunglasses - the line draws on Mr Cutler’s obsession with fit and function, explains the company. Construction is streamlined, offering layers of detail and craftsmanship paired with lightness and comfort. The muses for the collection were Ink creatives from the 1940s through to the 1970s, including American screenwriters and illustrators, traditional Japanese ink artists and highly regarded influential poets of the 20th century American poetry scene. Each frame is named as a reference to the figure who influenced its design.
