Area98 announces the new decorative Coco Song collection and campaign for Spring/Summer 2022
Coco Song has revealed their new campaign imagery for the collections launching at MIDO 2022. The collection is designed to "transport the mind to far away secret places, where the foreground is the idea of a sensual woman, reserved and mysterious, like the protagonist of the creative campaign". Each frame design is seen as an exploration of unusual shapes, special details and precious elements: silks, feathers, dried flowers and semi-precious stones such as Lapis Lazuli, turquoise, tiger's eye and white Howlite, each of them with its own meaning and symbolism, adorn the different styles.
The Coco Song SS2022 collection models are made entirely by hand, using an original processing technique through which dried flowers, feathers and silks are melted in the acetate. The elements can therefore be mixed together, overlapping and combining to create a variety of original patterns, colour effects, with harmonious and elegant finishes, designed to highlight the beauty of the female face. In the campaign, the model wears 'Shake Yourself', an oversized frame that features dried flowers and jewelry details, and 'True Princess', a cat's eye shape with dried flowers, precious silk inlays and precious stones and jewelry inlays on the temples.
