A collection built on free expression
The French company Anne & Valentin presents new models in its artistic sun and optical collection, where everything is created "based on feelings and emotions". The line is characterised by original design, with respect for handcrafted traditions and a desire for individual expression.
Described as a gentle, almost square, glamorous shape, sunglass style Socotra owes its individuality to its lines, its wired double-bridge, and its arches that create an absent presence, like an interval. Futuristic overtones play a part in model Stone, a frame the company calls an "ultra-pop square screen". Cut to excess, its statement shape feels arty, glamorous, and cinematic, with volumes and wide, bevelled arms, for extra presence. Also part of this line, model Silvana is typical of the design of the brand: the round shape offers a fluttering, voluptuous sunglass design inspired by the actress Silvana Mangano, with make up 'details' by painter Martial Raysse.
Anne & Valentin frames have been Made in France in the same factories in the Jura region for more than 20 years. A few select titanium models are produced in Japan.
