Passion is the driving force at sun lens company, Divel, who have announced their latest collection, named “Elements”. For the season to come, Divel Studio continues to innovate, developing new colours, new coatings and new materials. By turning to artificial intelligence for inspiration, and the shapes, curves and colours typical of AI, Divel Italia's creatives have designed a tangible, real-life collection “where reality and imagination come together”.
The Elements collection is inspired by the mystery and escapism made possible by the latest AI algorithms as they seek to reproduce nature. The shades of blue, green, red and yellow take on a less human, more artificial tint and, when combined with the surreal patterns printed on the lenses using the Decoprint technique, generate surprising curves and harmonies. The focus has been placed on solid and gradient-tint nylon lenses which can be mounted on metal or minimalist frames.
The lenses are available in four colours in the Elements collection: Sunset red: evoking the coral hues of the evening sky at dusk; marine bioluminescence: inspired by the artificial tones of a colourful seabed in a crystal-clear sea; joyful yellow: reminiscent of sunflowers and fields of grain; and blue future: a blend of blue and purple that evokes artificial and virtual atmospheres. The patterns of the Elements collection are fully customizable.
