De Rigo Vision presents new designs for all brands in its portfolio
The styles, which will be unveiled for the first time at Mido, include the POLICE sunglass style SPLQ84. The design is inspired by 90s fashion, and characterized by a geometric metal front with double bridge and lenses with anti-reflective treatment. The temples are decorated with the Police eagle logo and have flexible hinges “that ensure an optimal fit”. This extremely distinctive version with "Gold 200" metal and blue mirrored lenses faithfully recalls the style of the Police glasses of the 1990s. From the YALEA collection, De Rigo highlights the model SYA225V which is part of the capsule collection dedicated to Frida Kahlo. Made of acetate, the model has a broad modern front with a detail which recalls the artist's distinctive symbol, the unibrow. The internal core of the temples is decorated with a refined floral motif. The name of the model, Visionary, is engraved on the left temple, a tribute to the extraordinary vision and originality of Frida Kahlo, while on the inside of the right temple stands the signature "Yalea x Frida Kahlo," in reference to the collaboration. The colored end tips enrich the design with symbolic details: the right tip is inspired by a red brush, a tribute to Frida's passion for art, while the left tip reproduces Yalea's iconic spatula, embellished with the brand's monogram.
