Pathfinder model by AKONI Eyewear is inspired by a vintage sports car
The new Pathfinder sunglasses have a curved navigator shape enhanced by mini side-shields with perforations, reminiscent of the exquisite details found in vintage sports car interiors.
The Pathfinder frame has recently been made available in a sleek black matte titanium finish, beautifully complemented by gradient lenses that transition from a subtle grey to a deep green, the Akoni team explains. “This colour update not only adds a modern flair but also enhances the frame’s refined movements,” they say.
The Pathfinder also features an adjustable temple system, exemplifying the brand’s commitment to technical innovation.
The current range by Akoni also includes the model Newton, a homage to Sir Isaac Newton’s mastermind. The frame, in Collection VIII, is a reinterpretation of the optical Clubmaster shape, designed to make a lasting impression. A unisex frame, it combines classic sophistication with a masculine twist, and presents a striking contrast between the thick, edgy acetate temples and the robust titanium eye rim, which is notably thicker than typical designs.
