2023 Edition
4 - 6 FEBRUARY 2023
The eyewear state of the art
There were many novelties and proposals aimed at visitors with a special focus on opticians: from the cycle of meetings at the Otticlub entitled 'How to?', to the presentation of specialised books in the Book@Mido programme. Then there was the focus on sustainability, with awards and dedicated areas, but there was also no lack of glamour occasions, with the presence of VIPs and celebrities from the world of show business, and entertainment with flash mobs, exhibitions and award ceremonies in the famous Mido squares.
Numbers
More than 1,000 exhibitors from 150 countries, a boom in visitor numbers with 35,000 trade visitors, 80% from Europe and 20% from the rest of the world. Compared to 2022, there was an increase of 60%, with Italy's presence also growing to 53% of the total.
A record-breaking edition
The mido.com website was visited by more than 30 thousand people (+50% compared to 2022), while the digital platform has about 12 thousand subscribers, 650 showcase pages, and more than 40 events that will be available until December 2023. Communication, during the three days of the fair alone, thus exceeded 1.4 million impressions, marking a growth, which also manifested itself in the 50 thousand interactions recorded by the pages, of over 30% compared to last year.
