Sony sfida i Google Glass con i suoi occhiali SmartSony challenges Google Glass with its Smart eyewear

Depositato il brevetto per occhiali interattivi di cui ancora non si conoscono i dettagli tecnici Sony ha depositato il 21 marzo scorso presso l'ufficio brevetti degli Stati Uniti un brevetto per degli occhiali SMART molto simili ai Google Glass, che nella mente di Google saranno un sostituto del telecomando.   Gli "Head Mounted Display" progettati dalla casa giapponese, che porterà l'ultima versione di JellyBean sui suoi Experia tablet S, hanno in effetti un design molto simile agli occhiali di Big G, ma per quanto riguarda le funzioni, niente è stato rivelato.   Dal patent si intuisce che il progetto non è esclusivamente dedicato ai videogiocatori, quindi non sarà solamente un supporto alla nuova Playstation 4. Non sono descritte nemmeno le componenti hardware, ma per quanto riguarda il sistema operativo si può pensare che la scelta di Mozilla e del Firefox OS per un futuro smartphone possa essere funzionale anche a questo progetto.
