Il Cav. del Lav. Vittorio Tabacchi riconfermato Presidente per un altro anno Ieri a Berlino, creativa e cosmopolita capitale tedesca, si è svolta l'Assemblea annuale di EUROM 1, la Federazione Europea dell'Industria Ottica, che raccoglie le Associazioni nazionali di produttori – di Francia, Italia, Germania, Regno Unito, Spagna, Grecia, Svizzera e USA (TVC association). Durante l'incontro, che quest'anno si è tenuto negli uffici di Spectaris (The German Industry association for Optical, Medical and Mechatronical Technologies), è stato riconfermato al Cav. del Lav. Vittorio tabacchi, già Presidente di Eurom 1, il mandato per un altro anno. L'incontro ha dato modo ai rappresentanti delle associazioni di ogni Paese di esporre brevemente i propri dati di settore ed è stato poi dato spazio ad un confronto sulle attività del comitato tecnico nel periodo 2012/2013. Significativi e di interesse gli interventi dei relatori esterni che hanno partecipato all'incontro quali Gianni Cossar, Giampaolo Falconio e Till Herzog in rappresentanza di Gfk che hanno fornito una panoramica attuale del mercato europeo, Greg Chavez per The Vision Council che in video conferenza ha illustrato ai presenti scenari e obiettivi del mercato USA,Paul Folkesson per ECOO (European Council of Optometry and Optics ) e Helmer Schweizer per EuromContact. Durante il meeting sono state sviscerate tematiche riguardanti dati di settore e problematiche generali ma si è discusso anche del presidio normativo e tecnico a livello europeo e internazionale e sono stati, inoltre, presentati i progetti di comunicazione e prevenzione per l'anno a venire. Vittorio Tabacchi reappointed president for another year Berlin, the creative and cosmopolitan capital of Germany, hosted the Annual General Meeting of EUROM 1, the European Federation of Optical Industries that unites the national manufacturers' associations of France, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Greece, Switzerland and USA (TVC Association). During the meeting, which was held this year in the offices of Spectaris (the German industry association for optical, medical and mechatronic technologies), Vittorio Tabacchi was reappointed president of EUROM 1 for another year. The meeting enabled the representatives of each country's associations to briefly present sector data, which was followed by a discussion about technical committee activities in 2012/2013. Significant and interesting were the talks by external speakers Gianni Cossar, Giampaolo Falconio and Till Herzog representing GFK, who described the current panorama of the European market, Greg Chavez of The Vision Council, who talked about US market scenarios and objectives in a video conference, Paul Folkesson of ECOO (European Council of Optometry and Optics) and Helmer Schweizer for EuromContact. The meeting took an in-depth look at sector data and general issues. Moreover, regulatory and technical protection at European and international levels was also discussed in addition to the presentation of communication and preventative projects for the coming year.
