During the Milan design week, in order to escape from the shackles of the classic “sector trade fair” and to broaden the scope of Mido, a new fringe event, "Out of Mido" – a reference to the fact it takes place in a different venue to the Exhibition as well as outside of the Mido period – has been developed.
The goal? To give the more design-oriented exhibiting companies at Mido the chance to participate in the most important event dedicated to design. It’s a different way of exhibiting, a new form of participation, aimed at winning over the most advanced of consumer, in this case represented by design lovers and experts.
After the success of the first edition in the gallery of the Nhow Hotel, Out of Mido will be taking place again between 10 and 13 April 2014 in an exceptional new venue, Showroom 31 at Opificio 31, in Via Tortona, in the heart of the ‘Fuorisalone’ district, where established and emerging young designers will be the true stars of the show.
